DZ Doodles Rubber Stamps/Polymer Clay, Vintage Needlepoint Purse, Valentine's Day Card Designs, Heart Embossing,Clear Stamp Mini's!

Hello Doodles Followers!

With Valentine's Day on my mind, I thought I'd show a card idea that I came up with using a variety of stamps, available at budget prices, with my free-hand heart cut outs. There's really no need for a die cutting machine and dies when it comes to making hearts. Sometimes the cutest "hearts" are created when you just fold paper in half and start cutting -- then I make one as a template to use over and over again!

Rubber Stamping meets Polymer Clay to create this lovely "ring dish" by Leslie Andersen at Leslie's Art and Sew. You'll find her picture tutorial and project details HERE.

And while on the subject of polymer clay projects, for a clever polymer clay and favorite photo magnet project click HERE for the photo detailed tutorial by Linda of "pane amore e craetivita," (Italy) to inspire you to create a frame of your own design! Be sure to translate the page if needed. Or you could re-create Linda's darling felt fabric Valentine Purse. For tutorial details click HERE.

It only takes a crazy-silly-and wild imagination to create something such as this with felt fabric! View the short video HERE.

With just some scraps of Paisley printed paper (and solid), a Darice heart background embossing folder, and some crochet thread scraps, it came out better than I thought my doodle-design would! Now that I have a basic "card pattern" I can't wait to use it with other embossing folder backgrounds, stamps and die cutting designs for other cards -- using flowers, or shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day ... "snowflakes!" And Thank You note cards, simplified, would be gorgeous too
Card size: 6"W x 5.50"L

Thanks for stopping by and as I create I'll post more designs and ideas! :0)

Vintage Needlepoint from the 50's, 60's and 70's inspired Danielle Thompson to create a stylish needlepoint purse with a design that's a modern twist on this favorite from the past.
I enjoy working with plastic canvas and love "different" purse designs as well ... so this is a great combo idea for my next plastic canvas-felt fabric project, and I can use up many of those mini-ball scraps of yarn left over from my crochet projects!
