DZ Doodles Freebie, Bookbinding Tutorial, Chandelier, Paper Purse, Tin Can Tea Light, Recycled Purse, Yarn Wrap Letters, Storage Unit Designs, Felt Poinsettia Pin, and more!

Hi Doodles Followers!

Isn't this a beautiful stairway view?

Hi again so soon! I seem to be bubbling over with goodies these days -- it could be because May and June are full of so many special events for everyone! With proms, graduations, Mother's Day and Father's Day there's also spring cleaning to be done and revamping interior decor and exterior ... lots of outdoor planting to be done too! So here's a bunch of hodge-podge things I found fun and interesting and thought you would to!

This chandelier project is from "Zelfmaken" a Dutch Magazine. Within the post you'll see the word Sjbloon Kroonluchter (PDF) - click on it to download the PDF pattern print out to use to recreate your own chandelier!

What a different and cute shelf idea!
This is something I've always wanted to do, as I made-a-page, but some of those how-to books I've invested in haven't gone into as much detail as has The Bookbinding Tutorial by James Darrow - JamesDarrowDeviantart.com. This 10-page (print out front/back 5-pages) has to be printed and saved in your files -- I love how I can, at my leisure, create a page as a keeper page and just add it; not at all like creating a page that I dislike in the book and wondering how to remove it without damaging the book if it didn't turn out to my liking!

Jazz up some letters with colorful string-thread-twine-yarn "whatever" is a great way to wrap around letters for a child's decor! What a nice baby shower gift. Using cardboard letters from The Paper Source or Hobby Lobby you just may turn into a darn yarn-wrapping freak!

I have a fondness for purses, especially recycled projects. We Upcycle's grown up purse from juice boxes is inspirational enough to want to create. Although there isn't a "pattern" for the photo's designs I've found some patterns and tutorials that should help you get started ... try it, it's fun!

The recycled purse is one of the ultimate recyling projects, utilizing things like potato chip bags, magazine pages, candy wrappers, juice containers for construction materials using a simple weaving technique, although there are several techniques to doing this, even as simple as basic decoupage. Woof Nanny at the Purse Project not only has some gorgeous purse creations but also includes a few gum wrapping tutorials that will help guide you through the process.

Ricochet and Away has a paper weaving tutorial for a darling purse design ... and so much more, that should give you an idea of how it's done!

Make your own reusable Shopping Bags pattern.

ELEGANT (tee-hee) 'tin can' tea light holder ... "who said baked beans and a naked flame don't mix" by Scott Bedford at What I Made - a blog of quirky art and crafts containing an eclectic mix of illustration, decor, gadgets and tutorials. Create this tin can tea light holder using Scott's download file and tutorial!

IT'S BABY SHOWER SEASON and here are some great products to help you host a fabulous shower or give a memorable gift to help the new mom on her way! This Topsy Turvey Style Diaper Cake (including instructional video link) is only one idea -- scroll down the page to view the video clip from You Can Make This!

Flourishes April stamp release, Hello Baby is another fabulous set by Marcella Hawley. Barbara Anders card (shown) and the rest of the design team listed show you some lovely variations to using this image.

What a lovely planter idea for the overhang on a patio - this unique yet functional project, old chandelier turne planter, is dressed up and put to good use for under 20-bucks by Renee Garner (Miss Modish finding) -- you can find Renee doodling the days away at Wolfie and The Sneak!

One for her grandson Jack's Album methinks ... Jak Heath created this adorable scrap page using the MY MEMORIES SUITE V3 software which in my opinion (hers too) is the best digital scarp booking software on the market with an awesome selection of affordable digital scrapbooking kits!
As a special for all my readers, MY CODE provides you with a $10 discount off the purchase price of the My Memories Suite V3 Scrapbook Software!

Aren't these adorable?! These fun decor pieces are just a few of the 'drawer forms' that were created using Kaisercraft wooden drawers assembled and decorated by Lowri McNabb of Paper Vine with Artful Crafts Fine and Sunny Collection -- all Kaisercraft projects come with a Workshop magazine to inspire you. Very often while cruising and bouncing, stumbling from blog to blog I come across something I like to call 'plan ahead ideas' (mainly because I'll never find the dang article again when it's around that time to make it). Lil Fish Studios Felt Poinsettia Brooch tutorial is a fun accent piece for your winter wrap lapel! Always a sweet gift to give too! Lisa Jordan gives you step-by-step how-to's and poinsettia pattern to print out to make your recreation easier to do! So go there and print it out now! :0)

When I lived and worked in Park City, Utah, an old mining town just a ways from Sundance, I really loved the Sundance Festivals. For a wonderful vacation experience you may want to think about the Sundance Summer Festival! You will truly enjoy the atmosphere of Park City and Sundance especially around the Fall season!
